Christ Lutheran Children's Center began in 1974. We
originally offered pre-school classes to the children in the
community, then in 1976 opened the Day Care portion of the program. Members of Christ Lutheran
enjoy a 10% discount on services. We offer
pre-school classes for ages three through five year olds. We also enroll
children two years old and potty trained, up through 6 years of age, in our
full-time Day Care program.
The Children's Center teachers have over 50 years of
combined teaching experience.

PHILOSOPHY
Our center provides a warm, loving, non-denominational
Christian atmosphere - striving to inspire, enrich and motivate the Child to respond positively to his/her environment.
PRESCHOOL
Opening for Pre-school usually is the same as the Clark
County School District. Pre-registration begins the first Monday in
April.
The program includes reading readiness, numbers
readiness, arts and crafts, music, nutritional snacks, outdoor play, story
time, sharing and chapel.
Hours: AM classes: 9:00am - 11:30am No PM

Holidays and
vacation correspond with those of the Clark County School District schedule of
holidays.
CHILD CARE
Ages: 2 years (potty - trained) through 6
years.
Hours: Year round program. Monday through Friday,
7:15am - 5:45pm. Closed for the following holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving
and the day after, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th,
Veteran's Day and President's Day.
Activities include arts and crafts, music, sharing,
story time, numbers and alphabet, outdoor play, nutritional snacks, nap time and chapel.
Lunch: We ask that each child bring a sack lunch.
Snacks and milk are provided. Lunch is served at 11:30.
Nap Time: Each is to bring a small blanket and
crib sheet.
There is a non-nap room for those who do not nap.
